At Trapco Inspections, our home inspections cover all major systems and components of the home. We include the use of a state-of-the-art thermal imaging camera that can detect hidden moisture and potential electrical problems at no additional charge. Our Home Inspections also include, at no additional charge, a wind mitigation report and permit reports. Because timing is critical in the home buying or selling process, our reports are delivered electronically to our clients the same day of the inspection.

Thermal Infrared Scan Technology

Trapco Inspections, Thermal Imaging Camera

Trapco Inspections uses thermal scans to capture images which show differences in surface temperatures. These differences are shown by different colors. Any small differences in temperature can be the indication of moisture or potential electrical issues.

We always check areas such as walls or ceilings, near plumbing fixtures and areas around appliances. If a difference is detected, it can be measured with a moisture meter to see if any moisture is present.
